Hae Won Ko
Hae Won Ko specializes in complicated coverage issues, as well as civil litigation of third-party insurance defense matters. She handles a complete range of insurance coverage matters arising out of personal, commercial, and specialty lines and has also litigated in the areas of co-carriers’ coverage contribution actions.
Hae Won's experience also includes the defense of various entities, including governmental agencies, in personal injury cases involving automobile accidents, construction zone liability, and/or premises liability actions.
Hae Won has extensive experience in drafting substantive motions, including Summary Judgment/Adjudication Motions, which have either prevailed or resulted in favorable settlements while the motions were taken under submission by the courts. Hae Won has also co-authored multiple appellate briefs, including but not limited to the Respondent Brief in the reported/published case of Jones v. P.S. Development Co., Inc, et al., 166 Cal.App.4th 707 (2008), wherein the appellate court affirmed the trial court’s Summary Judgment in favor of the respondent/defendant.
Prior to joining Bullard, Brown & Beal in 2005, Hae Won litigated and defended workers' compensation cases in front of various Worker’s Compensation Appeals Board throughout Southern California.
Hae Won is fluent in Korean.
